• Pastor Russell Allan Reed:

  Pastor Russell Allan Reed is the son of Russell Reed and Mary (Tunnell) Reed of Garnett, KS. He was born on July 23, 1960 in Lockwood, MO. He was raised and graduated High School in Ottawa, KS. In 1981 he graduated from Butler County Community College in El Dorado, KS with an Associate of Arts degree majoring in Fine Arts. His personal hobbies inclued painting, drawing and theatre.

   

  Pastor Reed started his seminary training in 1991 at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. From August 1993-1994, he served Faith Lutheran in Towner, ND on his vicarage. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in May of 1995 and was ordained and installed as pastor of St.John's Lutheran in Britton, SD, where he has served until accepting the call to Immanuel. During his ministry at St. John's, he also served two vacanies in Andover, SD(Zion) and Hecla, SD (Peace). In 2000, he was elected Circuit Counselor of the Aberdeen Circuit, a position he held until accepting the call to Immanuel.
